Steve kicked his career off as an AV engineer, developing hands-on, technical skill sets. This experience led to overseeing all aspects of audio visual installation and maintenance services at Byond Group today.

With the understanding of customers’ needs and the importance of on-going maintenance/service support, Steve took on a Service Manager role earlier in his career to oversee the development of strategic partnerships and supply professional services for all AV and associated technologies.

Today, as the Managing Director of Byond Group, Steve manages all day to day aspects of the business, directing a team of highly motivated and knowledgeable individuals. Developing new business and building/maintaining customer relationships are at the forefront of Steve's role to ensure that our clients receive an outstanding service right from the get go.

Pip is passionate about people, how we behave and how our thoughts influence how we show up in the world. Having recognised the connection between people’s thoughts, behaviours and the quality of the user experience no matter what the product or service, this has been her passion and focus ever since.

Having set up and run several businesses focusing on User Adoption, Customer experience and multi-level training programmes, Pip had the opportunity of a change and to join Byond. She also managed to bring a couple of awesome team members across too! Her role here is to help drive the business forward with the mantra of 'People first, technology second' - really driving home the importance of excellent Customer Experience.

Honestly, it’s a subject that Pip can bang on about forever!

Rod is a strategic consultant with a love of music and sport and has more years of sales/engineering experience than he cares to admit! He gets a real buzz from creating and nurturing new partnerships and feels privileged to enjoy many long standing relationships with client and suppliers alike.

Rod has a passion for technology, but fully understand the importance of a 'people first' consultative approach to solution design and implementation. He's worked at the sharp end as both an engineer and business owner which has played to his advantage Byond Group.

Rod knows his stuff and enjoys working with businesses of all shapes and sizes. He has helped clients across most sectors and always tries to read the room, avoiding jargon where possible. Rod's goal is always to deliver a personal service in a down to earth manner whilst taking full responsibility for quality and delivery.

Laura has spent her entire career working with both internal and external customers within the technical and legal sectors. She brings a deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to creating exceptional customer journeys at Byond Group.

Laura is passionate about supporting those around her to deliver excellent customer service which exceed expectations at every touchpoint.

She understands that successful customer relations begin from within the Byond Group family and enjoys identifying and working on areas of improvement to ensure the businesses ongoing success.

With over 25 years of dedicated service to the company and its parent organisations, Darren has consistently contributed to various facets of engineering excellence. Initially serving as the lead site engineer for 16 years, he undertook comprehensive responsibilities encompassing installation, programming and commissioning across diverse projects.

Transitioning into roles of increasing leadership, Darren assumed the positions of Engineering Manager and later Operations Manager, all while maintaining hands-on involvement in site operations. Alongside managerial duties, he played a pivotal role in system design and programming, ensuring tailored solutions for our clientele.

Today, Darren is our Head of Professional Services, leading a dynamic team of engineers and collaborating closely with office-based personnel to orchestrate seamless project execution. Not to mention, Darren is also our Design Consultant for UK Medinbox installations, leveraging his expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in healthcare infrastructure.

With 17 years’ experience in Retail and Hospitality management, Vickys interest in managing the P & L of businesses encouraged her to retrain in accounting.

Whilst studying an AAT, Vicky took a role in a subsidiary company of Byond Group, working across a total of 8 different linked companies. In 2019 Vicky took a more senior role here at Byond Group.

Over the last year with the high growth key areas of focus have become budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting which the directors and Vicky have been focusing on to link into the company strategy and vision.

Combining his expertise in presales design solutions with a solid foundation in engineering, Mike bring a holistic approach to every project at Byond Group.

With years of hands-on experience in engineering, commissioning and programming disciplines, Mike leverages technical knowledge to inform and enhance our design process.

From conceptualisation to execution, Mike aims to bridge the gap between functionality and implementation, ensuring that solutions are not only innovative but also practical and efficient.
